Got some new darts today. Actually my girlfriend got them for me as a gift from a lady selling at a fair. She came down over ten dollars on the price so they were a good deal. They are FP 23 Gram County Corks by GLD. They feel nice and throw well.
Here they are in the package. She threw in a set of flights and I chose the Eagles.

Nice shape. I could throw with them if they were a bit heavier (27g). I just replaced last season's with an identical set due to the lack of grip through wear.
Thanks! I am really liking them so far. I have been favoring 24 gram darts in the last year or so and I am surprised to find that I throw with the 23 gram darts just as well. I played with heavier darts for a while. I played with a couple of different 28 gram dart sin league, and I own a couple sets of 27 gram darts as well. I tend not to do as well with them.
It's amazing how the weight of a dart affects my throws. I own two John Lowes, a 23g(World Champion) and a 25g(Golden) and I notice I do much better on the 25g one. Then today I was shopping for darts for a friend, I went to a store (a-zdarts.com's brick and mortal in Sacramento, CA) and tried the Bombs from Magic and noticed I throw the 26g better than the 24g. I bought the 26g (cheap, since they sell it at the store for $28 but they matched the web site price). Anyways, I used it for a couple of hours when I got home and I love it! I'm piss I didnt get one for myself.
Yes. Those Bombs are extremely nice darts. I have a set of the 24 gram smooth Bombs and I love them. I blogged about them several posts back you might wanna look for the post. As far as weight goes I prefer 24 gram but I throw all sorts of different weights from 12 to 28 equally well (well, equally poorly).
