Darting the Good Dart

Well the newest addition to the family have been performing well. I have been hitting a lot of big numbers lately although I have not hit any Ton-80's with them. I have hit several 120+ scores though, several back to back, and a bunch of Ton-40s. This is a good sign and I hope I am not jinxing them with this post.

This shot was a particularly nice group which was just a millimeter or two short of my first Ton-80 of the year. I am hoping for more good scores in the days to come. Unfortunately a work trip is going to keep me away from my first league match of the year (well the first week was a bye). The first actual match against an opponent that is.

Hi, I really like your stories and share your passion for darts. I was wondering how many different sets do you own by now?

Hi Andre, thanks for the comment. I am glad you enjoy the blog as it's my little contribution to the ODC. By my count I have 36 sets of darts currently, plus a couple of strays I've picked up that do not belong to a complete set. But I have won a couple of sets in an online game and expect them to arrive in the next couple of weeks which will take the total to 38. You can see all the sets in my July 2004 archive. In that month I have dedicated one post per set of darts with pictures. Here is a link:

I really enjoyed you collection. As for the black widows almost all the other sets were completely new to me. I think I have seen almost all models sold in Europe and it is interesting to see these other models. I play steel tip in the premier division in the Netherlands. Perhaps in future I will create my own blog. But at the moment I should really be hitting the board Unfortunately I can't because I'm at work. I don't think the boss will like it when I open my blog here.hahaha. Anyway I'll be checking back again for sure. Keep up te blog it's fun.
