Par-Darts
This is a very nice board that looks like it is in virtally brand new condition. Right now it is at the house of a friend in Seattle and I am looking forward to playing on it. It looks like it would be at the very least an excellent practice board, but I bet the whole game is going to be every bit as fun as a regular darts game. This is my first non-clockface board other than the baseball board below. It is certainly my first bristle non-standard board. At some point I am going to figure out how to replace those wires stapled onto the board with embedded blade-like separaters.

THIS IS A GOLF BOARD, MADE BY nodor dartboard company and sold in their thousands in the early 1980;s.
The bulls can be pulled out and put back in as near the edge of bunkers as the skill of the player.
THEY COST £16 EACH WHEN SOLD IN 1980.
AT THE SAME TIME THERE WASW A SNOOKER BOARD AND A BINGO BOARD.

WOW!! A Bingo board?? I have heard of the snooker board but never of the bingo board. That is some very interesting information you have provided. I have heard that these boards were made by a company called M.Y. in England, as well as I have heard (from yourself and others) that they were made by Nodor. In fact, you can still see standard clock-face boards on ebay from time to time made by M.Y., and if you ever have a chacne to see a snooker board you can see that it says M.Y. right on it, near the edge. So that makes me wonder this:
What is the relationship between Nodor and M.Y.??
Thanks Eddie for this great comment, and this excellent information.
The board was manufactured in England by Nodor but was originally invented in Canada by an R. Barclay and he presented the design to Nodor...too bad they're not still being manufactured.
I agree Rupert. It is a real unique board and I think it is ashame that one off designs like this are so uncommon in bristle. I have thought up a gazillion new games that could be played on non-traditional dart board designs. Space games, laser fight games, all sorts of stuff.
RICHARD Douglas Barkley .... my Father
Seriously? That's fascinating. Did your father invent other dart related stuff? I'd love to see any old pictures you might have? Or current one, I guess, if your father is still creating cool dart stuff :)
