I think the rule should rather read: "The dart must be clearly connected with a single segment of the board" to account for robin hoods. Such spectacular feats should be rewarded not punished.Zeeplehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17217303030920572083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8402224.post-1129541230269665692005-10-17T02:27:00.000-07:002005-10-17T02:27:00.000-07:00Damn, that kinda crap happened to me twice in last...Damn, that kinda crap happened to me twice in last weeks game ... once even in the triple20 segment.Machttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07999027605638542818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8402224.post-1120045923009429102005-06-29T04:52:00.000-07:002005-06-29T04:52:00.000-07:00That is an interesting point Tommo. I have never seen the springs hold the flights onn so firmly that the flight of an incoming dart didn't pop off. In fact it is quite common for the flight to pop off and flutter to the ground with or without the springs. z.Zeeplehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17217303030920572083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8402224.post-1119977041459555132005-06-28T09:44:00.000-07:002005-06-28T09:44:00.000-07:00I'm not sure those springs are helping you, other ...I'm not sure those springs are helping you, other than saving some small costs on replacement stems. I prefer the flights to be jetisoned if the dart catches another dart on the way to the board. Are you sure the springs give you any benefits?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
